RAMS COULD NOT COMPLETE ANOTHER COMEBACK AGAINST BEARS
STAFFORD PICKED OFF IN FIRST SNAP OF FINAL DRIVE TO SEAL THE 18-24 LOSS TO THE BEARS
The Rams' struggles will continue to grow after going 1-3 by week four in the 2024 regular season. This is a very tough loss to swallow as the importance of winning this match was set earlier in this week. Considering the history of the NFL, the LA Rams still hold a 13% chance of making the playoffs this season, but the Rams fans should remain vigilant as injuries have not cleared up.
Finishing in the Red Zone has become a big issue for the Rams this season with a conversion rate of 41%. That would be the 27th best in all of the NFL this season. Compared to their nearly 70% last year, the Rams have multiple concerns all over the field.
However, the Karty Party has arrived. Joshua Karty was considered one of the best kickers available on e the market in the 2024 NFL draft, and with struggles from three kickers last year for the Rams, Karty was an easy decision. Karty went 4-5 against the Bears after missing a close 43 yarder due to wind. While kicking at a 90% conversion rate, the Rams are already admiring that with experience Karty will become automatic from above 50 yards.
With hopeful improvement to the offensive line, LA has a solid offense to look forward to with the return of Kupp and Nacua later this season. The Rams carried a 2-3 record last season before their magical playoff berth and were considered a less talented team at the time. If the Rams pull off a win against NFC North Green Bay Packers, the season may not be over for LA.
