TUTU ATWELL RESIGNS WITH LOS ANGELES RAMS ON 1-YEAR DEAL

Los Angeles, CA - Rams and Tutu Atwell have reached an agreement on a 1-year deal with a total guaranteed value of $10 million.

The wide receiver just finished his fourth season with Los Angeles and he's gradually improved his production on a yearly basis with the Rams.

The 2024 season proved to be Atwell’s best, racking up 562 yards with a near reception rate of 60%, one of the best on the Rams this past season.  However, this was not always the tale for Atwell, following the 2023 miracle run, Tutu found himself in potential trade talks, but Les Snead found his small size with quick speed to be valuable for the 2024 year.

Atwell is a key role player in the receiver room who found himself as the fourth receiver on the depth chart behind Nacua, Kupp, and Robinson. However, Atwell had a very important job for Los Angeles. Run. He is by far the fastest receiver for the Rams and it may stay that way with uncertain futures of both Kupp and Robinson

Kupp is currently still up on the trade block, and Robinson is dealing with legal troubles following a DUI which appears to be slowing down any offers from teams. With this deal the Rams future receiving room holds that of Nacua, Whittington and Atwell.

The L.A. Rams have been a very busy team this offseason. They have been in constant trade talks for many of their starrs like Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, and Jonah Jackson. Jackson has been the only player to have left so far through a trade with Chicago, but many other key players remain on the roster.
