COOPER KUPP IS ON THE TRADE BLOCK ACCORDING TO SOURCES
RAMS LOOKING FOR POSSIBLE TRADE IN EXCHANGE FOR SECOND ROUND PICK AND ARE WILLING TO EAT SOME 2024 SALARY
The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 5th and teams are starting to make their riveting phone calls for players they really want. With two big name wide receivers traded earlier this week in Davante Adams and Amari Cooper another name has been mentioned from LA.
According to multiple NLF media sources, Cooper Kupp has been a receiver that has been raising some eyebrows across the league for teams vying to have his services in 2024. The 31-year old receiver has only played in two games this year for a total of 18 catches for 147 yards. Reportedly, the Chiefs have been the team linked to Kupp the most over the past week.
Kupp was sidelined with a high ankle sprain since exiting the week two game against the Cardinals. Most experts argued that his injury riddled career would deflate his value as a receiver and possibly deny any chances of a trade going ahead, especially with his $15 million salary and nearly $30 million dollar cap hit. Apparently, that is not the case with LA asking for a minimum bid involving a second round pick in the draft.
After only appearing in 23 games after his triple crown season in 2021, Kupp has still been an extremely productive receiver on the field averaging over 70 yards per game since then. In what could be a blockbuster trade, Rams fans will want to cross their fingers to avoid trading the receiver who has the fourth most receiving yards in Rams franchise history.
