KYREN PARIS HAVING AN EXPLOSIVE START TO THE SEASON FOR THE HALOS

Los Angeles, CA - Kyren Paris, is a name many Angel’s fans may remember when he made his debut back in September of 2023. Since then Paris has been up and down the list of top prospects in the Angels organization, and up until this 2025 Spring Training may have had his last chance to make it to the show.

Paris got an invite to come join the Angels for Spring Training for the third year in a row since 2023, and he made every rep count over in Ariona.  Paris had an outstanding spring hitting .400 with 2 HR and 13 RBI’s in just 24 games. The performance combined with the injury to Zach Neto gave Paris the chance to break camp and make the opening day roster.

The utility man has played in 9 out of the 10 games so far in the 2025 season and has ripped 3 homers with 6 RBI’s so far.  He has played in both center field and second base, but with Zach Neto’s return looming, the question on who is the odd man out grows. Some Angels players that come to mind are Tim Anderson, Jo Adell, and Kevin Newman where eac has struggled to get going offensively. Their defense and history in the majors proves as to why they remain on this team, but only time will tell who would be cut instead of Paris.
