ZACH NETO BRINGING LIFE TO THE 2024 ANGELS
A NEW SHORTSTOP ROLLS INTO ANAHEIM AND GIVES HOPE TO ANGELS FAN FOR BETTER TIMES AHEAD
In what many Angels Fans expected to be the beginning of a new era, of Anaheim baseball, has resulted in another mediocre season for the Halos. With the addition of a new manager in Ron Washington, the baseball club had high hopes to beat there 2023 season record of 73-89. Washington is one of the most respected coaches/managers and bringing him in brought signs of a better future in Anaheim.
That has not been the case so far this 2024 season, where reaching 73 wins might seem more of a fever dream than anything. However, Neto has provided MLB fans someone to look forward to watching withing the Angels lineup despite Mike Trout being out for the season.
Neto has had one of his best months of his young career this August of the 2024 season. The young shortstop has hit .259 with an OBP of .351 through 22 games this month. With a decent average Neto has managed to put up 6 homeruns and an .892 OPS.
Arguably, Neto has been up to an all-star status in the second half of the season and is looking to finish his season strong with only September remaining for the Angels. One of the best shortstops in baseball this past month has been Zach Neto and he deserves his credit and will be awarded for his performances by hardcore Halo fans.
