MARCO REUS HAS BEST DEBUT POSSIBLE FOR LA GALAXY

REUS GETS AN ASSIST AND GOAL IN HIS DEBUT FOR LA GALAXY VS ATLANTA UNITED

Marco Reus has been one of the sport’s biggest superstars for over a decade, and remains a German legend, for both club and country. The German footballer has joined LA Galaxy to tie up his fantastic career, where he was apart of legendary moments for Borussia Dortmund, the club he spent 12 years with.

A career with Borussia Dortmund that ended with a goal and an assist will now continue with the LA Galaxy. His debut resulted in a similar fate a goal and an assist in his 30 minutes of play. Galaxians were awaiting his turn to come on to the pitch, as Reus entered in the 64th minute for Marco Delgado. It only took Reus a few minutes to contribute to his first LA Galaxy goal with a pass to a running Puig who finishes with finesse to the top corner. Galaxians erupted and made Dignity Health Sports Park one of the best venues to be at in all of MLS for matchday 29.

The victory secured some notable achievements for the LA Galaxy. With the win, the club is the first in the MLS to achieve 400 wins as an organization. LA Galaxy was also alerted that the Dignity Health Sports Park has been home to over 10 million fans, since it being announced home of the LA Galaxy. An amazing weekend for LA, but only seven games remain of the 2024 regular season for the LA Galaxy. The club is ahead of cross-town rival LAFC by only 5 points. The Western Conference run will go down to the wire as LA Galaxy will be looking to secure a better spot in playoffs.
