DODGERS ROTATION HURT ONCE MORE WITH KERSHAW INJURY
KERSHAW GOES TO 15 DAY IL LIST WITH TOE BONE SPUR
Los Angeles- Dodger fans are in disbelief with the recent injury to Clayton Kershaw in Arizona. The future hall of famer gave up 3 runs through 27 pitches in just over 1 inning. He was added to the injured list about a week ago due to a toe bone spur that has been off and on for years. It almost feels a curse has been placed on this Dodgers rotation with question marks being placed on every starter for the first place baseball club.
Roberts stated on Kershaw’s experience with this bone spur for years and how he has done a great job managing the lingering injury. An unfortunate injury came at a fortunate time with September calls up following the next day. The Dodgers have decided to run with Flaherty, Stone, Miller, and Beuhler until Glasnow can return from his injury as well. Its a rotation led by Jack Flaherty who has been one of the best additions this trade deadline, as he poses 3.14 ERA in his 6 starts with the Dodgers. For the rest of the boys in blue, questions come of whether they have enough experience or can last a few innings for the playoffs.
